3. Virtual communities

social networking has good advantages while it has bad things. There are many good advantages as shown in the articles. First of all, I think that people who use social networking programs is being in virtual world, not in real-world, so they communicate with many other people without being judged like appearance and characteristic and they make friends. The virtual space is very free and flexibility space which don't have in face to face relationships to meet people, to do, or to experience new things because it doesn't matter whatever they do. Also, These are good and easy to make new relationships and to discover their or somebody's different side.

2. Obama campaign

There are many social networking programs like Facebook, Twitter, and My Space, and most people are using them. Also, the effect of the spreading through them is tremendous, and it is more efficient than any other methods because we can share and contact with a thousand of people on the social networking programs. Obama, president of U.S., used the social networking programs very well during his election campaign, and they were the one of the primary factiors to win in the election. I think that Obama campaign through Facebook affects making positive image about Obama. Also, he got many donations from online and their supporters were very active by using e-mail, blog posting, and making group. Obama campaign knew the social networking’s advantages, and they started them early and aggressively used them than other candidates.

1. PBS presentation

Almost teenagers are using social networking programs, and they spend time more in online than offline. Their parents don’t know how their children are going and what they are doing because they doesn’t have time to talk to their children. However, teenagers discover their characteristic and get helping in online, and they like using social networking programs.
